A recent article in the NY Post asserts that today’s high-end house hunters are looking for more than your typical upgrades when making a purchase decision – they are looking for designer appliances and swanky extras.
Specifically? Designer stoves.
According to the article, this pricey new obsession (many stoves costing as much as $15,000) is a result of the “newfound pandemic-era pastime of browsing luxury homes on Zillow” and the ever-increasing popularity of real estate and prime time cooking shows.
The NY Post quotes stove dealer Metin Ozukey as saying, “Wealthy buyers want aesthetics first, functionality second.”
While we agree that looks matter, we don’t think you have to sacrifice performance for beauty.
Custom stove range hoods from Classic Custom Metal Works are both functional - containing high-end mechanical fans that effectively remove airborne grease, combustion products, fumes, smoke, heat, and steam – and incredibly beautiful.
CCMW hoods are considered the crown jewel of the kitchen – perfect for complementing and highlighting designer stoves.
